Okay, okay so it's been awhile. What's new with me? Well, Tuesday was the SADDEST DAY OF MY LIFE. Series finale of Gilmore Girls, my favorite tv show for the past 8 years. Ahh, I will be in mourning forever.

Friday. I missed my morning class because my stupid alarm clock failed to wake me up. Crap man. Missed my afternoon class cause it was Sungod and nobody goes to class on this day anyway.. so I went shopping downtown. Everyone decided to head out to Heat downtown. Another "best-time-of-my-life" until we're walking back to the car. I've said it before and I'll say it again.. "I hate white people." Subject change. Saturday. Didn't wake up till 1pm. Niiice. Picked up ToeKnee and Jr to go eat lunch @ MM Workshop. I had delicious Chipotle they had crappy L&L's. Muahaha I win. Double date, double feature @ the movies. Watched Shrek 3 and then tried to sneak into the other side for Disturbia. HAHA Toeknee, such a schemer. He even tried to talk to the ticket girl to see if she'd just let us in. Oh boy. When all else failed, I called Celeste and she got us the tickets. THANKS AGAIN BUDDY! Disturbia is such a good movie. Shia Lebouf is my fave :) I bet he's the next big thing. Went our separate ways and had dinner at Pho Hoa Cali. Back to Jr's to sleeeep the night away. I was very, very tired :)

Annnd today. CONGRATS TO ALL THE GRADUATES, I'm soo jealous. Gotta do stuff with Mom, clean my room (it's a mess), do some laundry (i've never seen the pile so high!), and tons of homework :\ Suuucks. But Sunday is usually my catch up day.

Friday. Missed class, but I had a good reason. Watched Remember the Titans for the first time with Jr only because every other guy out there swears by this movie. Leave it to Disney to disappoint me yet again. One, I'm not a huge Denzel fan. He is so blah to me. Two, the movie is so choppy especially around the end. They're trying to squeeze in all these random scenes last minute. Three, the acting could've been better. Shouldn't have tried so hard to find actors that resemble the real people and casted better actors.

Saturday. Shopping put on hold cause somebody couldn't wake his ass up. Argh. So we ended up going to PB. Then to Oggi's to watch the Bulls game. That game was horrible and I couldn't stand to watch cause the "Baby Bulls" (cute huh, haha) were playing so freaking bad. I went home early to change for church and then met my parents there for the longest mass ever!! 40 kids receiving their first communion.. jeez shoot meeeeeeee. Headed over to ToeKnee's but the fight was over. Then we left for the best place ever, Excelsior!! Haha, riight. But I did have a great time :) Here's the pictures to prove it.

Sunday. Black Mountain Bike shop, swear I've been there so many times this week. Waited for Jr's bike to get fixed and I tried riding a road bike. Ohhh man I want one!! Cheapest one is $700... shoulda busted a TK and just bought it on the spot. Sorry, I'm not BALLIN!! Went to Mira Mesa Workshop to eat lunch and ended up hanging out there for a couple hours. Witnessed a huge blow up between the L&L's manager and a drunk customer. "Fuck you! No, fuck you!" It would've been cool if they started swinging!! Ended up in a big chase to the back parking lot, crrrraaaazy. Only in Mira Mesa I guess.

So in response to last blog's comments..

"Question: What kind of bear is best?" Although April had a good answer and probably woulda been true if I hadn't taken that quote from last week's episode of The Office. Where Jim impersonates Dwight in the beginning... SO FUNNY that I chuckle when I think about it driving home from school or something. Haha in fact I just rewatched the clip and I was laughing so hard, so loud.

Yes, I think we're all in agreement that The Family Stone is a great movie. But sorry Ginet, I'm not a huge fan of Lion King or any Disney animated film for that matter. I just don't like cartoon movies. Yeah, it's great for the kids and I'll definitely watch it with my niece and nephew, but I'm not about to go watch in the movie theatres because I just don't like them. Lion King? Ehhhh. No I did not cry. And I am a pretty big crybaby when it comes to movies. Little Mermaid? Sorry Thizzle, but it's not for me. Beauty & the Beast.. Aladdin.. Cinderella.. Snow White.. Finding Nemo.. Incredibles.. whatever.

But everyone has different taste. So, Go Disney.

I've been working out so hard lately. Back to back late night biking trips can really take a toll on you. I am exhausted. I almost didn't go to my 8am class because I was soooo tired. Getting back to ToeKnee's at 1am and then bike riding some more cause I forgot my gloves at Westview. Then chillin at Mobil gas station with Jr and Allan and finally getting back to Jr's around 230am. But I love going out with the biker crew and it's such a great workout. I JUST HATE HILLS :\

You know where I should be today?! SAN FRANCISCO!! I should be in line getting ready to watch my hero, Conan O'brien. But no.. procrastination got the best of me and tickets got expensive so we didn't go. Booface. But I looked up today's guest and it was just Robin Williams so I'm not too bummed. I'll see you in New York Conan. Or maybe in 2009 when you take over Tonight Show.

AHHH I have not been getting enough sleep!! Saturday night I didn't sleep til almost 5am and woke up at 930ish. And last night I went to sleep around 1am and woke up at 7am to rush to class. Always in pjs for this class, hoodie in tow, and hair tied up. I don't even take the shuttle cause it takes so long so I always try and find a parking meter.

Anyway since I head to class sooooo early in the morning, I listen to radio talk shows. As much as I hate to admit that I listen to 93.3, AJ's Playhouse can be pretty funny sometimes, but annoying at the same time. Especially their song parodies. I also like listening to 103.7 for the Adam Carolla show with Danny Bonaduce & Teresa Strasser. "I like Adam!" He was making funny jew jokes this morning and those can be rather funny. So if you're ever up, check them out.

Had a somewhat movie night on Saturday. First we tried to watch Night at the Museum, but got distracted and didn't finish. Then after Jr's sudden change of mind and not going to Hooters, we got food and went back to his house to argue over what movie we should watch. I ended up CHAMP and picked THE FAMILY STONE. I FREAKING LOVE THIS MOVIE. Great cast, great story, has a what-the-hell moment at the end, but nevertheless ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE MOVIES EVER. Luke Wilson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Keaton, Craig Nelson, and Rachel McAdams! How can you not love it?! And seriously, if don't cry you have no soul and a heart of stone. AhemCeleste. And by the way, Jr liked it too :)

The weather is lookin great outside. Too bad I'm cooped up inside. Homeworking?! NO! Haha watching GG reruns and playing DS. But really, I should be doing some homework...

I'm getting tired of going shopping.. actually let me rephrase that. I'm tired of everything ANYONE is selling. I don't like tee shirts with an all-over print design of something completely retarded like unicorns, rainbows, and my least favorite: hearts. I don't like pansy, girly clothes with tiny flowers or bows or anything too pastel. It's kind of hard to find good stuff right now and I'm just over it. Really sucks because in my free time, I loooove to shop-shop-shop.

What I am obsessed with right now:
1 American Apparel hoodies/tees (working my way up the color collection)
2 Plain tees from Urban Outfitters (name a color, cause I got em all)
3 Men's v-neck tshirts in those surplus packs i.e. Fruit of the Loom or Hanes

I haven't been bike riding in sooo long!! But I guess as soon as Jr gets his (expected delivery date: MANANA!) then we'll be cruisin every day. Good, cause that's the only form of exercise I ever get nowadays unless you count walking around campus. And Jr just ordered me some spandex shorts! And I've got gloves so now I'm pro-rider. Haha, eew.

Since I've been with Jr I've watched the most BASKETBALL I have ever watched in my last 22 years of life. I swear if you asked me to name 5 pro basketball players I could do it successfully. And I like Charles Barkley during half-time cause he cracks me up. And now he's totally into the playoffs and of course I have no choice but to watch with him. I'm rooting for the Warriors. Their jerseys are sick. Oh and I like the way they move the ball. Haha.

How Unfortunate

Did I walk under a ladder? I didn't see the black cat cross my path... so why on earth am I having such bad luck?! Well not really.. Just added that for dramatic effect.

1 My ipod got jacked. Well, technically it was Jr's because my ipod went to crap a looong time ago. I guess careless-me was rushing to catch the shuttle. My ipod was connected to my fm transmitter which is just a long wire. And I guess as I was gathering up my shit and leaving the car it fell out and was dangling outside my door. Didn't even notice because when I got back my fm wire was outside with NO IPOD. Sucks, but what can I do?? Luckily Jr wasn't mad at all soo I guess I was off the hook. It just sucks cause now I have to listen to the radio FOR-EV-ER.

2 Today Joycee (the lesbo, jk) informed me that she got these weird msgs from me on myspace. And also, I've been posting weird bulletins. I guess now my myspace has been jacked along with my ipod. Woe is me. I already deleted it and I'll probably make a new one later today. So add me!

I've got a calc midterm today at 2pm. Kinda just chillin cause I've got a ton of time to study. OR DO I?! Oh well. Hope to see some familiar faces tonight. If not, I'll be like Danity Kane and just "sleep on it."

I was listening to the radio and they were talking about Oprah's "secret." Some mumbo jumbo about believing in something and then it happens. Like going to the mall and really hoping for a parking spot and when you get there a spot opens up. Or knowing you're in a financial bind and then getting an insurance reimbursement check in the mail. Shit like that. I thought of a few personal examples that apply, but is this "secret" really true? Or just mere coincidence? Who knows...

We went biking yesterday afternoon to Carmel Valley Road and went back the inside way. The last time I went biking was like 2 weeks ago when we went through the PQ Canyon Reserve. Needless to say, I was super struggling. Although, I was quite proud of myself for making it up the last hill and not giving up. Yay me! Yay us!! But I am totally paying for it now cause I am very, very sore/tired. Blah.

Weekend Getaway

My weekend was perfect, how was yours??

The wedding was fun. Not as great as I had hoped for but it was fun hanging out with his cousins. Let's just say I got drunk and Jr had to escort me to the bathroom. God, how embarassing :\ But hey, I didn't throw up! HAHA seriously makes me cringe just thinking of my little incident. Oh well moving on...

Our hotel room was niiiice. Probably the nicest hotel room we've ever gotten especially for the price we paid. King size bed, which didn't matter because we really don't need a whole lot of space. Separate living room with a huge desk, a couch, and two separate lounge chairs... useless, again. Sheraton Hotel, thank you!

Sunday was the best because we went SHOPPING-SHOPPING-SHOPPING! First was H&M at Beverly Center, which was a major disappointment. Poor Jr just sat outside on a bench while I tried to find some goodies. He was such a good sport though!! No complaining, no hassling, just patiently waiting. Then he was rewarded because we went to Supreme on Fairfax to pick up sunglasses for him. There was an open trade market across the street which was a jewel in disguise. Basically a trendy swap meet with lots of good finds. Cool old cameras (shoulda got one!), vintage accesories (got an authentic gucci bag), old vinyl records, one-of-a-kind furniture, etc. Very happy we went there :]

Overall the perfect shopping experience. Got a lot of great stuff and a really cute bf to hold my bags. Yaaay!

Step On A Crack

You'll break yah mama's back! Superstitious much? When I was little I half believed this saying, laughing in everyone's face who did believe it, but then secretly avoiding cracks myself. Such a conformist. And what's supposed to happen on Friday the 13th? Seems like old ghost stories of this day are long gone and all you get out of the 13th is Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger, and Michael Meyers reruns. But if you do a little google research, bad luck happens on the thirteenth and maybe mad chaos will ensue at Landlord Jims.

In elementary school, Fridays used to be Opposite Day.. self-explanatory, right?! i.e. I hate you = I like you, God you smell so good = ohmygod your odor is horrendous, etc. So maybe I'll go a little elementary tonight, so don't be frightened when I'm giving you a big fuck you with a big grin planted on my face because all I really meant to say was, "Have a great night."

Rollin with Jr and his parents to a wedding come Saturday. Not literally, we're taking our own car and getting a hotel room and then going to Pleasureville. HA! If by Pleasureville I really mean Los Angeles to spend big bucks $$$. Dying to go to H&M!! FYI to fellow clothes-hoes, H&M @ South Coast and Spectrum open this very weekend, but I'm sure it'll be sooo packed with anorexic, bikini-clad white girls that I'll walk right up to the door and then make a super quick u-turn. Something about stores being packed up the ass with shopaholics that makes me come down with a hard case of agoraphobia and not to mention claustrophobia as well.

I really, sincerely intended to go to my 8am class this morning but my stupid phone has the most useless alarm clock ever and I ended up sleeping right through my alarm. GRR! Really sucks when you miss class when you actually wanted to attend. I'll have to pay a visit to Target and get me a new clock, among other things..

You Know How I Know You're Gay..

So we saw Blades of Glory yesterday and it was pretty good. Usual knucklehead humor, but nevertheless funny. Funniest or most fucked up part: Iron Lotus in Korea. HAHAHA! I chuckled pretty good.

God, you know how I know I'm getting old? Z90 is referring to Tupac as Old School Hip Hop!!?? They have these little promo sayings before they start playing music and one of them is something to the effect of: Get ready for some old school hip hop! They then continue to play Tupac. TUPAC?! Since when is Tupac considered old school? It was just like 10 YEARS AGO! And then I realized, wow.. 10 years. I was old enough to be aware of my surroundings meaning I was old enough to have a vivid memory, which translates to me being old. Jeez Z90, you're killin me.

You also know you're getting old when you have close friends that are getting married! AhemJoyce! My gosh we went through our 21 year old phase and going to E Street (jeez, remember that place!!??), Ole, and PB Bar & Grill. God and that was just 2 years ago!! My how time flies.. Soon enough all of us will be married and having kids. Oh My God. (haha but ps. I can't wait to get married)

Then to make it even more painfully obvious, my niece and nephew are growing sooo fast. They're talking up storms and having full-length conversations with me, most of them I can barely understand.. but still! They're walking, talking, potty training, and lastly.. making their Auntie feel old times ten. AAAH!

My 8am class is going to be killer!! AAH! Luckily, he posts his lectures online sooo maybe I won't have to be present all the time. Yehyuh. So my schedule isn't so bad this quarter and I'm only working one day a week. Hopefully I can find a new job at school or something else that's flexible. Holla if you hear something!

We've been biking basically every night and I am sooo sore. I feel like I am going to have monster thighs and I don't know if I should be biking all the time. But it's such a good workout and a lot of fun. Riding down the 56 Freeway is the best. No pedaling required. Just beware of mexicans walking in the dark, scary!! HAHA.

Last night me and the fam went to dinner at 94th Aero Squadron for my brother's birthday. This place was crazy and totally made for white people. I don't know what the hell we were doing there. I guess my parents have been there with their friends and wanted us to try it. It was alright though. If you've ever been to the Butcher House it's the same thing just different theme. But it's kinda festive so it would be fun to eat there with the hammies. FREE buffet during happy hour too!!! Might be fun to get drunk there cause they have firepits outside and ducks too!

I GOT MY BIKE! I GOT MY BIKE! I GOT MY BIKE!

Random trip to 24 hour Wal-Mart after delicious consumption of Hooter's chicken strips and Christmas Light Lemonade led to Jr purchasing MY BIKE! I also got a basket and this gnarly raver bell. Today we rode (well, I did.. he skated) around his block and it was freeeeeezing from the freakish tornado-like weather. Crazy windy and cold. Bought the bike on a whim cause it was dirt cheap and in my color, but Jr thinks we should shop around and maybe invest in a better quality bike. So I guess more bike shopping for me. But I like my bike :] Thankyou boyprend...

If you read Jr's blog, he mentioned this little boy with the "disgustingly dirty" blankie.. which I presume was originally white as snow. Mad grimey. Little kid (in purple crocs! ugh) was rubbing this germ infested blankie all over his face, cuddling it every so often. He practically stole the show from Shamu because I couldn't stop staring at how dirty it was. Gross man. I would never let my kids become attached to filth ridden toys/teddies/blankies/etc.

I wish I had a scanner so that I could show off my fisheye pictures, but I don't. I'll figure it out somehow. Anyway, happy spring break :]

Spring Break Starts @ 10PM Tonight!!!

My last final for calculus is tonight at 7PM. Why its scheduled at the very last moment of finals week? I dont know. But it gave me a lot of time to prepare for my other finals as well as studying all day today. So wish me luck and pray for me!! Cause Ill need it.

I have work tomorrow morning 545AM-12PM so stop by if you want. Sucks cause I cant go out and celebrate tonight, but whatever Im just excited for it to be over!

Productive Morning.

Jr actually managed to wake up before noon so we decided to go downtown to Urban. He bought jeans and I got tshirts. Then we went to Balboa Park to the Reuben H. Fleet Center. Elementary school kids running a muck. Reuben's got this Grossology exhibit and seriously... it is gross!!!! There's this one activity where you squeeze a bottle and you can smell A) Armpits B) Feet C) ANUS?!?!?!! Haha no joke. It's so disgusting I didn't even try it. Yucks.

I also got my fisheye camera I've been wanting (gracias bf)!! And I got a great deal on film! Buy one get one free for 10 bucks, 5 rolls per box equalling to $1 per roll! Awesome.

Been playing with my new blackberry and I love it! So organized and so much personal information I can hold! I just bought a 1GB microSD card for 10 bucks free shipping (thankyou slickdeals.net).

But I gotta turn it around and think positive. Pay it forward somehow and redeem some fucking GREAT karma points... because I have a final in less than two hours and I can't take anymore bad luck.

Didn't get to go to Sea World on Saturday, so we're planning on this upcoming weekend or next week since I'm on Spring Break. Slept all day at Jr's and missed out on Callahan's, but did go to Tj's at 2am. I love not having a curfew and then coming home to his empty house. It's niiiice.

Just My Luck.

I am having the worst luck ever!!

Last night, on my way to Jr's I dropped my phone in the garage and it split open and I couldn't find my freaking battery!! It was nowhere to be found. I think it may have slid under our storage cabinets, but it'll be way too hard to retrieve. GRR! So my phone is out of commission, but I'll most likely get a new battery/phone ASAP.

Then today after eating lunch at Subway PQ, we had extra time to kill before Jr had to go to work so I was like, hey let's go to the phone store and look at new phones. And if not, there's always Radio Shack to look for a battery. So we drive over and I spot the Cycle Centre next to the phone place and I'm like, yaay let's go look at bikes too. We park and started walking towards the store first passing what used to be Radio Shack. They're definitely closed and under renovation or something. So I'm like whatever, let's go to Cricket phone place. We get there and they're closed! BOO! Go next door to Cycle Centre and THEY'RE CLOSED TOO!! WTH maaan. I never get my way..

Argh.

Anyway, I normally don't like canned food. Like Spam, tuna, vienna hot dogs.. whatever. It's gross, food doesn't belong in a can, and yeh.. it's just straight nasty. So I've always been turned aways from tuna especially because I don't even like fish. But since it's Lent season and you can't eat meat on Fridays, I decided to try a tuna sub because a veggie sandwich is not going to satisfy my hunger. And whatdoyahknow! I LIKED IT! So since the beginning of Lent, me and Jr have gone to Subway every Friday and shared a footlong tuna sub. Tunalicious.

Hello again.

What's new with me:
1 We've been eating ice cream a lot lately. Double scoops of cookies & cream and chocolate malted crunch from Rite Aid. Sooo satisfying in this hot-like-fiyah weather.

2 I've slept over at Jr's these past couple days and he has the strangest sleeping habits. He stays up till 4-5am, eats junk food around 2-3am, surfs the net constantly, and can read without falling asleep. I cannot keep up with this guy.

3 He's also convinced me to do all things google-related. Google Reader lets you consolidate all the blogs you read onto one page and lets you know when a person updates (although it hasn't been showing me updates consistently). Nevertheless, I like consolidating everything into one. Also, I tried personalizing my Google homepage by adding tons of crap. Like the news, weather, and games. Bad idea cause I am completely addicted to Flood It and Pac Man (how do you not pass the first level of pac man?!! honestly..)

4 I watched my first episode of Pussycat Dolls and I like Anastasia minus the big hair. And what's up with all these signature good-bye sayings common to all reality tv game shows. "Hang up your feather boa." "Steven, please pack up your knives." "Omarosa, you're fired!" "Your journey ends here." So stupid, yet I still watch it :\

5 Going to South Coast with moms on Saturday and then going to Sea World with Jr! Get us a fun card and go all year for freeeee. Hope it's good weather.

6 Finals week, next week :( Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday. Pretty spaced out, I just gotta STUDY-STUDY-STUDY!!

Is what I shouted in Jr's ear this morning when I stopped by before work. Haha. And yesss I am working today. Argh!! Sucks but I'm gonna leave early, it's just my coworker doesn't know it yet. Muahaha.

Yaaaay it's my 22 + 1 Birthday. I thought you all forgot :[ But this day is turning out to be a really GREAT one. At midnight, I was at Jr's house finishing my poli sci paper due today. I DVRed The Hills and we ate pizza. Dude, I hate that Spencer guy. And Heidi is the worst friend ever next to Jen Bunney (the brunette with the ugliest nose ever!) I saw at Target they have The Hills Season 1 Special Edition. Haha I'm about to go buy that with some birthday mahney, yup!

Thank you for all the phone calls, text messages, and emails. I have great friends who really know how to make a girl feel special. And an even sweeter boyfriend because we're going to Ruth Chris tonight for dindins, woot-woot.

Daily Routine

So my daily routine consists of waking up and logging onto my computer. I don't know why I do it, it's just reflex. No, I don't jump right out of bed and shower. I check my gmail and my school email, hoping for interesting emails of any sort. Usually the best ones are notifying me that class is canceled. But that rarely ever happens. Then I try and read the MSN news headlines. Newspapers aren't my thing, they make my fingerprints dirty. 5PM news won't work either because I'm never home. So internet will just have to suffice my needs.

Going along with my daily routine, I read that this 12 year old boy named Deamonte died from a toothache because the bacteria from the tooth spread to his brain. How doctors/dentists let it spread so far, who knows? His family doesn't have dental insurance and officials say that a routine $80 tooth extraction could have saved him. What is wrong with the world today? Anyway, you can read it here.

I've been looking for these Marc Jacobs charity tshirts that have naked celebs posing. I want the one of Selma Blair. But you know which one I really want?? The one with BRANDON BOYD. HAHA! He has a bulldog covering his junk but still a pretty cool tshirt to own if you ask me. In stores, they were about $20-$30, but on Ebay?? A Benjamin. And if they're for charity, why are they so hard to find?? Ohhh well.

I've come up with only two things I want for my birthday. [1] A vintage bicycle or beach cruiser even a low-rider would be kinda nifty, preferably with a banana seat and maybe a basket. I definitely want a bell too. Something practical, not too steezy. [2] LV Damier Speedy 25 bag. Not a huge fan of LV but I've always liked the speedy/doctor bag steez so that's the one I want. (wink-wink jr) You know what my sister says about Jr?! She feels bad for him because I'm spoiled and expensive. HAHA, bitch. Jk lovemysissy. Gift cards always work, cash mahney is most definitely appreciated. And that is that.

Well, I haven't planned anything and I don't really think I will. If I had really wanted to, I would've started brainstorming last month. So I'm taking it as a sign that I don't really feel like doing anything big for my 23rd birthday. Such an ugly number anyway. But who knows, I can always change my mind.

I had two midterms yesterday. As for how well I did.. that's still up in the air! I didn't study at all this weekend. Too busy doing nothing and I'm soooo lazy. Buck up buddy!! Video games have ruined my life :\ I tried to caption the pictures from Saturday night but I got too lazy to even do that. There's too many and they're all of the same 10 people. THEY JUST GOT ENGAGED ON FRIDAY!! OMG. That is so nuts. My first close friend to get married. I can't wait for the wedding. Can't believe you guys got a wedding date already: July 19, 2008!! Damn. Well, I love you both and I'm soooooo happy for you Joyceeee. No more cracy, huh??? And are you gonna have Royal Mandarin cater your wedding??? HAHA! Congratulations again you two.

Weekend was pretty busy and I didn't get any studying done. Argh :\ but that's my fault. I'm gonna cram it all in my head tomorrow before my midterms. So wish me luck please. I even left my DS at Jr's so I wouldn't be tempted to play it. I wish I had more willpower, haha.

Soo Friday was April's housewarming party. We got there around 8:30 and I thought we were late. We were practically the first ones there! Ha, shoulda known better. I got Apes & Stanks the essentials that I thought they could appreciate: toilet paper, paper towels, water, and coke.. of course in bulk. Costco is great. Thanks April for all the food and especially for getting wiiiings! Yes I ate meat on a Friday, please forgive me Big Guy :] Saw Ginet & Celeste for the first time since probably Christmas?? I miss you girls!! Basically a chill night.

As for Saturday, it was crrrrrackin at Excelsior. Toe-Knee is a popular guy and Mr. Popular got bottle service. Thanks for refilling my cranberry grey goose. I thought I drank a lot but not enough to forget what happened that night. Mark your calendars cause it was the first time I drank Jack. BLEH!! Peer pressure. Well, it wasn't that bad actually. It creeps up on you though. Hmm, warm tummy. A "sooper dooper" good time. One word though: roundhouse. HAHAHA that's all. Loveyah EMO!!

Annnnd today I came over to Jr's early this morning, shoulda just slept over. We napped, showered, napped, and then went over to Grill & Grind @ the Workshop for some free burgers. Tasted so good in my empty stomach. I even ate two. Heffer status.

Nothing much going on in my world. Went to dinner with the Mysters last night at Round Table Pizza. One tomato, one mushroom, and one with tons of meat!! Ordered a grip of food. Couldn't eat meat last night because DUH! Ash Wednesday!! Went to church at Good Shepherd and it was soooooooooooooooooo freaking crowded, like insanely packed. Bah! This year I'm giving up fast food, so no more McDonald's or Taco Bell for me (and most likely him too, suckah!)

Since Jr got his cartridge we've been playing Mario Kart a whole lot. I'd say I win almost half the time if not more. Be careful of this guy cause he plays dirty. He'll hit you with a shell and then run into you making it harder to get going again. But it's okay, good always prevails over evil :] AND I WIIIIIN!

We bought new books again on Tuesday. He's already done with his Freakonomics whereas I'm stuck on Chapter 5. Maan, I just don't have time to read. Plus, he can read more syllables much faster than me according to Brain Age's "Read Aloud."

Ok think this is sufficient reading material for you adults at work. Back to doing whatever I please because the coffee shop is dead empty. Yesssss love it this way. I get so much more done this way.

Something Borrowed

The title of the book I'm currently reading. Yet to finish the Hilary Clinton autobiography. It's been tucked inside my drawer at Jr's house. And yes, he cleaned out my very own drawer at his house a loonngg time ago. Doesn't really matter cause I leave so much of my junk there.. extra contact case, deoderant, moisterizer, shampoo & conditioner, jammies, text books, etc. I am a total slob at his house. But here at mi casa? Clean as a whistle! Haha, sorry papabear.

Anyway, the book is good so far. We went to Borders Sunday night instead of going to HOB (sorry brotherbear!). I was totally scrubbed out anyway. I was deciding between two books to get: this one and Running with Scissors. But I guess that will be my next purchase. As for Jr, he's reading Freakonomics... err something like that.

Well, since everyone's been blogging about traveling might as well let you in on our plans. I definitely wanna go to San Francisco, but we wanna go somewhere we've never been. And the perfect place would be CHICAGO! I think it'd be a lot of fun. And of course he wants to catch a Bulls home game. So we're thinking the last week of March (my spring break) and hopefully getting tickets to the Pistons/Bulls game (yeh sheed). But it's just a thought and nothing official..yet. Hope it goes through :] I love traveling because really it means SHAPPIN!

Anywaise (eew). New Years was a lot of fun. Lunch was delicious!! Excess honey walnut shrimp means leftovers for the misters. I got a lot more money than I thought I would! Thanks fam. Then we gambled afterwards.. my absolute favorite game: Bau Ca Tom Cua translation: Lucky Chess. Basically it's like roulette, kinda. In the sense you pick an animal and place your bets. Roll some dice and if yer animal comes up you win! Colin had beginner's luck and was winning every time. He'd point his little finger in the air triumphantly. SO FREAKING ADORABLE. I love my Colinboo.

I really wanted to go to South Coast today but the rain spoiled our plans. I really really want to go to Beverly Center to go to H&M!! But if I wanna go to Chi-town, I better save my mahneys. Blah. And note to self: get kickin on that homework cause midterms next week and I am goin out Friday & Saturday!! SOOO GET TO IT MISSY!!

Sunny Day

The weather is so nice today. I wore a short sleeve sweater and wasn't cold at all! I love HOT weather, but I hate to sweat. Yucks. Last night, the game was really good. PH 2 played so well together and PH 1 could not get it together. Jeez, couldn't even let the birthday boy win?!! Afterwards we went out to eat at Applebee's. Happy hour is good there, except I didn't even order anything from the happy hour menu. Stayed there till closing time trying to get a story out of Jr and his number one FAN, Tgay. Boys can be so dumb. "Define naked." "Define friend." Define this, define that... dude, just buy a dictionary. Haha but it was pretty fun.

As for tonight, me and Jr are supposed to go to dinner with his parents for his bday. And then chill or whatever is going down. Tomorrow I hope to go shappin!! And then maybe a movie and of course, Jr's birthday partay. I know you're excited. See you all there amigos.

Great atmosphere, yummy food, and sweet service. We all totally pigged out! Got all these extras that we probably wouldn't get had we not had George's money. Milkshakes and shake-a-sodas, frings basket, and chicken strips! Oh my! This place gets two thumbs up. (And very reasonably priced!)

Weekends Were Made For Fun

Last night was so. much. fun! Ate dinner at Potstickers in Carmel Mtn. with that other half & half couple, the Nguyens. That place was goood. Haven't had sit-down Chinese food in so long. Walnut shrimp was delicious!!! What I really wanna try next time is Cheeburger Cheeburger, this new restaurant next door that looks like Corvette Diner or The Max. Let's go Mysters!!!

Went to Borders afterwards to wait for some peoples and ended up looking at wedding magazines. Freakin Stank. Jeez, can someone get married already???? I want to go to a wedding!! We finally left and TK dropped me and Jr back home cause they were going out downtown. And we actually stuck to what we said we were going to do... Homework & Zelda! I love lounging :]

Guess we're going to The Roots concert on Monday, VIP style. Really excited for this one cause we can actually sit while we watch The Roots with an unobstructed view!! Plus a $40 dinner voucher and FREE FREE FREE drinks??? O-M-G, going to be lots o fun. Can't wait!!

February Is Being Good To Me.

So I had a midterm this morning for my Race & Ethnicity in Politics class. It was bullshit. Yes, I don't attend class often and when I do I like to cut out early or do other things while she's yappin... but the woman didn't provide any kind of information about our midterm except that it was today. Who does that??? I talked to a few of my fellow classmates and they were just as dumbfounded as I was. She was asking for 3-4 pages on our essay questions. 3-4 PAGES?! What the.. And now I think she'll think I'm a racist because I called "whites" a lot of supremacists and basically went on a racist tirade for a good page and a half. HA! Well, it's all philosophical if you ask me and there's no right or wrongs. Except she did ask us to include references from her lectures or our course readings.. which I didn't do. But whatevs! Hopefully I just throw her off and she grades easy or the I'm above the curve. Hope for the best, expect the worst :]

THREE GREAT THINGS ABOUT FEBRUARY:
1 Valentine's Day, duh. This year I've got me a good one, so no matter what we do will be spectacular! Just the fact that Jr is into it this time around is good news to me :]
2 Jr's Birthday on the 15th. The mans turns 24 "which is almost 25, which is almost mid-twenties." Birthday present: CHECK! But I'll probably hook him up with some other goodies (ps. refer to ciara's song "my goodies").
3 NEW YEAR'S BABY = cash mahneys. Which is a great thing because I'm low on flow and those little red envelopes couldn't be coming at a better time. My family says I'm getting too old to get money but like I say all the time during this time and Christmas is: "Hey as long as I'm not married, I should be getting presents." Sounds like a good compromise to me!

Last night was a Purple Haze double header, except only 1/2 PH Teams played. I guess them Beya-beyas got scurred and didn't show up for their game last night. All the guys decided to scrimmage against each other and boy did they take that shit seriously. I thought it was just for fun too. I got to play scorekeeper and I swear every other second someone was yelling at me. "STOP THE TIME!" "ADD 3 POINTS!" Jeez people, I'm not a professional. And Chris kept trying to trick me to give him 4 points. Almost worked too, haha. Final score after playing for 40 minutes and 5 minutes overtime: 106 to 106. Haha I'm glad it ended in a tie cause I wouldn't wanna deal with any bitter bears or crybabies, haha.

Ok this is long enough. I should do something productive, like play my DS!

Superbowl Sunday was better than I expected, minus a few troubles :\ . Didn't really pay too much attention to the game. Only looked up from my DS when everyone started screaming. Soo loud! Was rooting for the Bears for Josepine's sake, but too bad so sad.. they lost :(

Then we watched American Idol (DVR rules) and boy was that hilarious. Made me laugh so hard. Haha even made me cry (i'm pathetic, and thanks jenny for letting the whole world know >:\ ) Old people man...

And of course, they had to break out the karaoke. Um I agree with Simon when he says "I'm 1000% NO!" Haha! Oh well, good times had by all. I drank so much I fell right to sleep as soon as I got home and woke up refreshed!! Yay.

Went to the Clippers vs. Bulls game on Wednesday. Staples Center is teeny-tiny! We were pretty close to the players and right behind the basket. Although the Bulls lost, Hinrich played a good game and that's basically why we went to go watch. My first sporting event experience was perfect! Got my foam finger (expect to see it at Purple Haze games)! Had great seats! Got those blow-up-noise-maker thingies! Yelled out ridiculous things (you know how I like to do that, haha, I couldn't resist here)! And even saw a fight in the stands that was right by us! Pretty gnarly. Overall, a fantastic day with the misters.

Then we came home and senkyou DVR for recording the finale of Top Chef. I was soo tired that I fell asleep before they announced the winner but I do remember hearing them say it was ILAN! Muahaha. Jr hates the guy so my initial perception of him has been skewed. Grr for being an influential person in my life. Ilan just gets less cute every time he opens his mouth and says something nasty about Marcel. Not cool man. Probably a fluke that Ilan won, but whatever. I really wanted Elia to win. I liked her.

Speaking of tv shows, didja catch the new episode of GILMORE GIRLS on Tuesday??? OMG, it was soo good. I was crying by the end when Richard has a heart attack. Sooo sad! Old people will forever have a soft spot in my heart.. Can't wait till next week's episode :]

Word of mouth travels fast so I'm sure you've heard the good word.. I got Jr a WII for his birthday. After looking all day for DS's for Althea and Raelynn, we checked out the Target in MM and whatdoyahknow... THE LAST FREAKING WII and it's all mine, I mean his. We got two games: Wario and Zelda. WII Sports is a lot of fun too! He kicked my ass at tennis, but I like to think I give him a good run for his money! Besides I'm better at golf. Anyway, Happy early Birthday Papa Bear :)
