I woke up this morning feeling awfully sick. Slight fever, body aching, stuffy/runny nose. You know, all the usual symptoms. Thought I felt okay enough to work but I milked the "sick voice," called my boss, she believed it... so here I am. On a Thursday afternoon, at home when I was scheduled to be at work, ahhhh.. so nice to just be at home.
There are several things I love about the upcoming fall season. (wait, is it already fall?) Anyway, I like fall fashion that's fa sho. Peacoats, jackets, sweaters, long sleeves, crisp jeans, scarves, long tights etc. Although I do love spring/summer season the best, fall marks the end of hot-hot weather. And boy, was this summer a hot one. So bring on the gloomy skies and cold weather! I'm ready for it!
But you know what I truly love about fall??? NEW TV SHOWS!!! Yesssss. My weekly schedule is so jam packed with new episodes, I'm so excited. I love good tv. So here's what I'll be watching or dvr-ing (thanks to jr):
SUNDAYS
10PM ABC Brothers & Sisters (this show is soo freaking good. sally field just won an emmy for it!)
MONDAYS
8PM CBS How I Met Your Mother (jr turned me on to this show and it's hilarious. neil patrick harris is awesome in this show!)
830PM CBS Big Bang Theory (for him more than for me)
10PM MTV The Hills (Heidi is a traitor joe)
10PM Weeds (Mary Kate plays a pretty convincing pothead. And she humps Silas. Haha.)
TUESDAYS
Nothing. I will eternally reserve this day to mourn the death of GG.
WEDNESDAYS
8PM CBS Kid Nation (the little asian kid on the red team is soooo cute!)
9PM CW Gossip Girl (kinda cheesy, but me likey)
10PM BRAVO Top Chef (go Hung! do it for all the immigrants, haha!)
1030PM MTV Newport Harbor (don't ask me why.. i just do)
THURSDAYS
830PM NBC 30 Rock
900PM NBC The Office (bears. beats. battlestar galactica.)
FRIDAYS
900PM NBC Friday Night Lights (bad slot time though, hope it does ok for jr's sake)
